For the new year a new calendar…. I like Noa Bembibre´s one.Noa is a Helsinki-based designer working in art direction and graphic design. Her work comprises identity, book design, packaging and custom publishing. And I also like Camila Engman´s , Swedish illustrator, and Sandra Juto´s ,Swedish graphic designer, illustrator and artist and Kauniste´s by Matti Pikkujämsä.

Today I visited Porvoo. Not too much people, “good” temperrature.. and snowing a lot…So nice feeling…!!

I have prepared marinated salmon again…. and I have just found a couple of great cooking blogs Cafe Fernando and David lebovitz , I visited them thanks to Devil’s Food Cake with Whipped Biscoff Ganache and Chocolate Shards recipe I found at Design Sponge.

.I have receive such a beautiful Christmas ball from a good friend.
And… a link last week with the tutorial on how to make Patchwork Christmas Balls… here.. that may help you to make something similar … It is a little bit late for these decorations but …. for next Christmas!!!

I´m going to have just the traditional Finnish menu for dinner at the Christmas Eve : Ham (Joulukinkku) with mustard, casseroles, marinated salmon, Christmas pastries (Joulutortut) …Ginger cookies (Joulupiparit)
But I´m also preparing this, (with the “salmon caviar” in the jars below) that is simple and just perfect as starter…
And I hope that Santa comes with lots of gifts….
